Im living in Fargo, but from Dickinson and am usually there over the summers. It looks as if you have an r3?? I think it's safe to say that you are the first in ND!! congrats, lol.

 

Yea long story of how this r3 came into my possession haha.

It was stolen from the factory, drove 8 miles, parked, took the wheels (makes me sad) and the seats (which got replaced).
A dealership in Utah takes salvaged titles and resells them.
buuut since we are in ND I got a local sheriff to inspect it and now has a previously salvaged title.
got a pretty good deal I'd say

So... Thought I would try to revive this and maybe find some people. Who's in ND? I'm in Fargo and would love to meet other people, I know I'll need to connect with people and the closer the better.

I wouldn't mind joining up for a ND RX meet... but we are few and far in between...

 

Few and far between, true that. I would suggest Bismarck for any meetup to prevent people like you guys out west being forced to drive somewhere larger like Fargo. But eh, would be nice to find more people first.

 

Id definitely do Bismarck sometime, I love a good road trip, I just hit 10,000 miles on my Rx just today haha

What do you drive in the winter?

For the winter I had a 90 Ford F-150 but that got stolen an totaled . But I ended up getting an 08 Subaru Legacy for a DD and I love it!

 

Ah sick, was looking for one of those, a subaru anyway.

When I was looking for cars I was preferring the Subis because of AWD and they're fun to drive, and easily accessible to parts and info. I gotta make sure to put on good tires for winter since this is my only car.

 

Still got my 8 in devils lake.. 102,000 for mine and still beating her to death.. Bismarck is a swell place

 

Definitely not bad, at least we're getting more people back in here!

I'm a little worried about winters being so cold here.

 

Oh deep down Rx-8s love the cold weather (except the transmissions, my clutch gets a little sticky when its really cold out haha but when it warms up your good to go.)

I think we definately need to get even a small meet, someone ask around rx7club too and get some of those guys and heck my brother in law is on the dark side with his v8 rx7 and im sure he knows people to go for a good meet up maybe.

just have to set up a time some weekend and hopefully people will show!

 

Haha good idea I was planning on doing that, hopefully we can get some more that are willing to meet-up in the rx7club. Hopefully we can get at least one good meet-up this year.

 

Been asking in the rx7club and one person suggested black hills since they have some decent roads, quite a ways from me though. I wouldn't mind though since it sounds like almost everyone is either central or west ND.

Anyone know of a white FD in Fargo? Just say it wednesday for the first time.

 

I would definately be a go in the Black Hills maybe Spearfish Canyon run or something, its only like 2 hours from me but understandable for you guys in Fargo and areas like that not being able to make it which would be quite the trek.
