I figured that was one of the things we would be doing. My throttle cable/gas pedal is giving me problems the last day or 2 also. I need to fix that. I think the adjustment on the cable slipped off the mounting bracket. The gas pedal doesnt return from the floor on its own but the throttle body closes and rpms drop.

haha, i bought a new one and now am JUST finishing up getting the old one ready to list. gawd, what a nightmare. I'm meeting with the realtor tomorrow morning to sign the papers and get that thing sold already (cross your fingers it sells before winter ...)

No, I'm just as guilty as you on our decisions. More about taking certain people's advice that I'm not naming. Mainly too because it was our stupid decision to follow the advice.
