Michigan Rx8 owners - Track day anyone?
Hello... I might be thinking of going to this event (below) for some track time with my Rx8... I believe it would be fun to take the Rx8 to the track and see what it is all about...
Maybe, if enough people are interested, we could organize a meet at some location before going to the track @ waterford. Give me some feedback if this is something you guys would be interested in .... __________________________________________________ ________ AROCDetroit.org Presents The Annual Labor Day Weekend Waterford Hills Event Waterford, MI Sunday, September 2, 2007 Event: This is an open event for ALL CARS and ALL SAFE drivers. hmm... seems that nobody is interested...

Don't be discouraged. Organizing events is kind of like herding cats. LOL
These things come together the last few days before. I'm still hoping there will be more people attending the Cedar Point Run. (Insert the sound of crickets chirping) Eventually we will get the SE Michigan Folks out of the house once in a while. I have guests in town on that day, but if I can attend, I might. :) |
Just keeping this thread alive....
I registered today for the track day on Sept 2nd... Maybe some more Michigan 8 owners will join :) |
Sounds like fun. I can't make it. Hopefully someone else is available. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the handling of the 8.
Be sure to post up some pics! |
How was the event? Did you go? :)
|
Well... Let me tell you....
The event was great!!... The Rx8 was great at this track!!! Lot's of curves... To say the least it was one of the most exiting/adrenaline rush feeling I've had in a while...the 8's brakes, handling and track posture performed as expected... with exelence... I will post pics later as I took some pics of the rides that were at the event.... |
