I finally bought my 8 from Bill Jacobs in Aurora, but spoke to several dealers before pulling the trigger. One of the stand-outs was Liberty Mazda in Libertyville. They set me up with a surprisingly no-pressure test drive and were willing talk openly about inventory and invoice costs. Craig Huber was very helpful. My advice to anyone in Chicagoland is definitely shop around, but drop in and see Craig if you happen to be in Lake County.

Kevin hooked me up there too. He also hooked me up a few years ago with a Miata SE. He's a great guy in addition being a great sales associate. He's an enthusiast. In the service dept., Frank and Erick are the best, and I have confidence in their rotary tech. too...

What are RX-8s going for these days? I can get X-plan but I assume they can beat that price?

 

I'm considering buying in FL but live in IN. I can get here for $4k off sticker for a 6sp GT with spare tire (cash purchase). Shipping would be $650. What do you think?
