Hey bud, i currently attend Transy and live in downtown Lexington. What does your 8 look like?

 

i have the silver gt package. i just got my tint on thurs. man i love this car.
which rx8 do you have? have you ever done any autocross racing?

 

No, i haven't done any autox yet. I've seen others doing autox in front of applebee's park and commonwealth stadium. I just got mine used a couple months ago and I'm still in the process of modding it before summer. My 8 is a Titanium Gray GT package with black tint and the faux chrome front grill. The MS catback is a nice addition if you're looking to go that route.

 

i want to do a lot of mods to mine but right now i just bought a house so i am going to just take care of a few bills while i read and get as much info that i can on all different directions that other people have took with their 8 so i can see what i want to do. right now i am thinking intake, full header back free flow exhaust, flywheel, and canzoom computer controller for air fuel mapping. about 4 to 5 grand....... but you never know.

You're not the dude that ran with my silver tiburon a few months back on Broadway are you? Who ever that was, I told them the 8 was my dream car.

 

I live in Dry Ridge. Is there any tracks near by to do track days?

 

There are no tracks in Lexington that I know of, however, there are weekends where a bunch of tuner guys meet in front of Commonwealth Stadium and (i've heard) Applebee's Park. I think these events are autocross and no racing, save for against the clock, actually occurs.

 

I'm here ........and you can see mine everyday if you drive on New Circle !!

 

Around what time do you meet on weekends?

 

I haven't been to either of the events, but I leave for out of town soccer games from commonwealth stadium on the weekends and I see them there as early as 7:00am and as late in the afternoon as 4:00.

Hey guys, im in lexington. I had the yellow 8 with the black wheels and c/f hood. Exhaust and body kit. I just sold the car, but my lil bro bought it. He lives here in town so you all will still see it some. im trying to sell the wheels off of it.

Just wondering who all was in Lexington too, I see many 8s around town and don't know anybody, it'd be cool to check out what everybody's got.

 

i know the owners of 3 8s here in town, they are on on Lexistreets and attend most of our regular meets.

 

I have grey stock 8 and live in Lex. Just got it this spring, love it..... it would be cool for all of us to meet one weekend.

No, i'm not a "frosh." I will be almost 21 (july 5th) when I get up there in May! I'm transfering up there

I'm studying Occupational Therapy..and I have a silver 8
