Anything new going on? Maybe we should all get together and go to the Rolex Sports Car race at Mid-ohio, September 16-18. I plan on participating in the Mazda Corral thing there.

The indy group has made the trip there for the past two yrs. Last year a couple of us had the good fortune of actually working on the pit crew for the speedsource teams. Good times, and I am sure we will be doing it again this year.

new rx8 owner in Terre Haute, I recently obtained a 2005 automatic rx8 shinka edition.

Hello from West Lafayette. I just bought my stock (I think) rx-8 a week ago. I already have caught the mod bug, I'm just not sure what I should do. I'd like to find some other 8 owners in the west Lafayette /Lafayette area

 

Get the Cobb Accessport most definitely. Thats what I will do as soon as I get the money. It's the best performance for the money, helps gas consumption, clears codes, a lot of other cool things too. Its sold exclusively by mazdamaniac. Or a used one. But its def worth it. There is also a new owners thread of cheap mods that increase reliability such as clean your maf. Also BHR ignition always a good reliability mod that saves you money in the long run.

It's kind of a drive but I have 10 RX8s down here in Louisville that I'm sure they wouldn't mind s cruise up north and hang out with others RX8 guys send me an email but on September 22nd we are going to Lexington to meet up with some in Cincinnati and Lexington join in if you like

 

I dont think rx8s exist in Indiana

 

I actually know a few Rotary guys in S. Indiana. Most have FC's thou. Heck are tuning and building guru lives in Indiana.

I'm from portage Indiana and there are a lot of RX 8 up here large groups hopping in the highway from time to time mostly they are in merrillville, crown point, and valparaiso Indiana. If any see this message let me know we can hang Fridays in valparaiso car show from 5pm til the sun goes down and then we cruise location us30 by the Harley Davidson motorcycle shop in valparaiso. Also down to indy.
