I go to Purdue and i see a ton load of 8s on the streets

hey it wouldn't have been one of these two gray rx8's??? lol This is when we went to mid-ohio for the Rolex race. The day we showed up..had to stop and get beer...most likely wasn't the smart thing before getting on the track lol but all was good.

My car is the last car.... But all these guys are pretty cool guys. They have regular get togethers and there is a whole group doing to the dragon tail in like march or may or something...log on to there site it's all there.... Indyrx8club.com

I've seen a ton of rx-8's around the north central indiana area but never get the chance to pull them over. there aren't enough of us rotary freaks in this state so we need to form a group. there's already a pretty large group in ft. wayne of rx-7's. are there any hoosier members on here that would be interested in hang outs?

lol you're welcome down any time you can make it. saturday nights in the fort are pretty crazy (street races, multiple hangouts and people bouncing around between them) so i'll let you know if i hear something's happening. if there's something going on in elkhart let us know too!

Actually there is a club in Indy that has been pretty active over the yrs. We have slowed down recently but still worth checking out if you are interested. We do have our own little forum at Indyrx8club.com so come give us a visit if you have time.

I'm from fort Wayne and I just bought an 8 on Saturday. Right now I'm here at purdue but over breaks and weekends ill be in town.

A bunch of the Chicago rotaries come down to the spring kickoff meet that the Indy RX8 Club has in I think it's April.

Anything new going on? Maybe we should all get together and go to the Rolex Sports Car race at Mid-ohio, September 16-18. I plan on participating in the Mazda Corral thing there.

The indy group has made the trip there for the past two yrs. Last year a couple of us had the good fortune of actually working on the pit crew for the speedsource teams. Good times, and I am sure we will be doing it again this year.

Hello from West Lafayette. I just bought my stock (I think) rx-8 a week ago. I already have caught the mod bug, I'm just not sure what I should do. I'd like to find some other 8 owners in the west Lafayette /Lafayette area

Get the Cobb Accessport most definitely. Thats what I will do as soon as I get the money. It's the best performance for the money, helps gas consumption, clears codes, a lot of other cool things too. Its sold exclusively by mazdamaniac. Or a used one. But its def worth it. There is also a new owners thread of cheap mods that increase reliability such as clean your maf. Also BHR ignition always a good reliability mod that saves you money in the long run.

It's kind of a drive but I have 10 RX8s down here in Louisville that I'm sure they wouldn't mind s cruise up north and hang out with others RX8 guys send me an email but on September 22nd we are going to Lexington to meet up with some in Cincinnati and Lexington join in if you like

I actually know a few Rotary guys in S. Indiana. Most have FC's thou. Heck are tuning and building guru lives in Indiana.

I'm from portage Indiana and there are a lot of RX 8 up here large groups hopping in the highway from time to time mostly they are in merrillville, crown point, and valparaiso Indiana. If any see this message let me know we can hang Fridays in valparaiso car show from 5pm til the sun goes down and then we cruise location us30 by the Harley Davidson motorcycle shop in valparaiso. Also down to indy.
