I would think the Senate would have to vote on it yet.
None is allowed on the front window except a 6" stripe starting at the top. 50% is allowed on the side windows (to the rear of the A pillar) and 35% to the rear of the B pillar.

Yeah i meant front side windows instead of wind shield

Thats what I was afraid of, so this amendment really is kinda useless. 50% is a barely noticeable tint!

actually, the bill is not law yet. The house voted to move it forward after the conditional veto but the senate still has to vote. The senate vote is schedule for Oct. 28th.

Both the House and the Senate voted to override the veto! So, it should be law - though I don't see a number applied to the law/action yet.

the bill has passed now - I'm not familiar enough with the legislative process to know if there is further action now that it has passed a veto override - my limited understanding is that it should be law now.

Did you know that getting the car windows tinted is a great way to increase fuel mileage. Hotter times of the day when the sun shines brightly a cars interior can benefit a great deal from window tinting. The less direct sunlight that gets into the car, less time cooling off the car. This helps you get better gas mileage on your vehicle. If the car is cooler when you enter it, it takes less air conditioning to cool it off.
