Today, Monday I saw a Velocity Red running eastbound on North Ave (Rt 64) east of Rt53. About 5:30 in the afternoon. I honked and waved as I passed you.

Well I'm new to the forums here, but I live in Schaumburg and I work in Carol Stream, I see 8's all the time down Gary, County Farm, North Ave, and Army Trail. If anybody sees a red one with a big guy in it, that'd be me. And I'm also interested in these meets you guys always mention. Where are they usually held at? NW burbs? Because I am very interested.

We tend to spread the meets around a bit so we can attract more people. So far we've had meets downtown, Downer's Grove and a couple in the Schaumberg area.
We have a meet Oct 19th.
Also, some of us also go to JGTCA meets. It's a cool local club that welcomes all Japanese RWD and AWD cars. More info can be found at:

Two RX-8's this morning. One on Lakeshore Drive south coming from the North/La Salle Ave. exit like me. It was Sunlight Silver with temporary IL tags on the back.
Second was also Sunlight Silver with IN plates on the Skyway heading towards IN.

I witnessed an unshaven, unkempt passenger in both a Red and Blue RX-8 last weekend in the northern woods. He was seen alongside a man with a beard that also appeared unkempt and wore a horrid BMW hat. Anyone else notice this strange pair?

Friday around 4:30 PM. Driving through the parking lot of the Algonquin Jewel at Randall & Algonquin. I tried to catch up to you, but after you turned east onto Algonquin you turned left into Dominic's. 1-2 passengers, female in passenger front seat was all I could see before I shot by.
