Ran into two VR 8s this week in the Schaumburg area. First one was on Monday going Westbound on 90. I looked over and waved before exiting at Roselle, but the driver never glanced over.

Second one was this morning going down Woodfield Rd. Once again tried to wave and got no recognition. Might have been the same car, who knows. Probably not board members if they won't even look at a fellow 8

 

SoundDsnr23 do you go down Roselle Rd a lot? I live in the 21 building and always see a red 8 from my place going down Roselle.

 

Heading eastbound, just outside of the loop around 10:25PM. Red 8 and a lovely looking lady at the wheel. I was the noisy pontiac trying to follow you.

 

Yes, I do drive down Roselle a fair bit. A coworker that I carpool with lives just off of Salem, so I usually exit 90 at Roselle.

 

black rx8 at Penthouse last night with me..(winning blue rex) parked no more than 40 yards or so away!


Good to know at least some rx8 drivers like to look at some boobies....

 

I saw a yellow eight in the Golf Mill Parking lot by Greenwood and Golf. I parked right next to it with my galaxy gray eight, but when I came back from seeing a movie it was gone.

 

Saw a Black 8 with a mazda speed side skirt i belive and a mazda factory front.
Near the Volo Car Museum near lakemoor. Also had tints

pretty nice car.

 

Dark colored 8 that did the 360 on Roselle Rd by the Holiday Inn. (12:10am) Just happened to look out my window and caught you spinning out while coming to a stop at the red light.....thanks for the ammusement....good thing you didn't hit the curb or the other cars! LOL

 

Silver 8 on Elmhurst/York just north of Thorndale this morning, anyone?

 

Saw a winning blue 8 parked in someones driveway on Golf Rd around 3pm today. Possibly a new owner?

Follwed a red 8 with a girl driving down Fort Hill road in Naperville this afternoon.

 

Yea I stopped posting sightings cuz it seems all I see are people who are oblivious to other 8s (and obviously not members here)

I actually parked next to a Ti Gray at Bacci's (sp?) restaurant last week ... nuttin.

 

^This is why the engine replacement polls and such are not valid. The people on this board are a very small representation of the actual number RX8 owners.

 

so true. i was thinking the same thing as i made my last sighting post. the owner of the gray (probably ti) was sitting in his car talking on the phone as i exited. i even gave him a wave ...nuttin.

 

Yeah I must have waved to at least three 8 owners in the past month and got nothing back but a retarded look. I even flashed my fogs at one guy who was driving in oncoming trafic at night........he was totally oblivious.

 

I'd post my sightings but I've been driving my Civic most days due to salt and gross roads.

 

Maybe we need to make a small window sticker so people can get the word out.

Spotted two last night at the Roundhouse. A red one in the parking lot across the street, and a yellow one in the actual roundhouse parking lot.

 

You need a license plate frame that says "My Other Car Is A RX8".

Spotted 2 rx8's on Roselle Rd tonight around 11pm. One black and one silver, both playing around a little and they sounded great(the sound is what made me look out my window). They were headed North on Roselle Rd and then must have turned around because I saw them heading back South a few minutes later....
