Hey all, I'm gonna make a downloadable "flyer" thing that has info about this site (this thread to be specific) that you can just stick on someone's windshield. Mebbe this will solve Blue & al's screeching chalkboard writings?? LOL

I know the JGTCA site is only visible if you are a registered member. I guess it's to keep creepy lurkers from spying??? Is this important? Should we keep meet locations/times to email only and not publicly posted? I dunno bout dis shtuff. I'll check to see what you creative peeps come up with .... outty.

A quick trip to Jewel tonight in Algonquin (Algonquin/Randall) turned much longer as I ran into a yellow 8 who hadn't heard of this site. Chatted for a while, exchanged cards and told him to get on. Cool plate ZM ZM RX8.

Official Chicago SPOTTED flyer available
I got sick and tired of writing the website addy on napkins, envelopes, or any other scrap of paper I could find in my car when I came across another 8.... so I quick made a flyer you can print out and cut up.
Because of the size limitation of uploading stuff here, I can't attach the 8.5 x 11 version (which has 4 SPOTTED signs on each) so I'll just throw a single one on here. If you want the full version, just PM/email me and I'll email it to you as a pdf file.

On my way to the JGTCA meet I saw two within 5 minutes while driving south on Randall Rd. First was yellow, heading north on Randall at the County Line Rd intersection. I think it's my friend from Jewel the other night.
Second was a black that turned onto Randall from Rt 72. I beeped/waved when you were waiting to turn left at Jimmy's Char House.

I had a funny run-in with a V-red owner this past weekend in the parking lot of Jewel on Randall and Algonquin. She was loading her car up when I was driving past so I stopped to tell her she had nice taste in cars (yes, lame). She said thanks, but she was getting rid of "that damn thing" soon because of its fuel economy. I just had to roll my eyes... I don't think she was much of an enthusiast
