not yet, waiting on money for all new seals. contemplateing just goin all the way with it and doin e85. Mite as well. Rebuild will not be done before winter anyway.

On a lighter note, my girlfriend saw you driving yesterday. Said she heard a blow off looked over and it was a silver 8. New instantly who it was even though i thought you parted your kit out. After more reading, i guess not. lol

good call on the E85...you will need a return style fuel system tho; all those parts add up!

LOL that's awesome she saw me. I didn't get much interest in the sale of the kit, just a lot of people wishing they could buy it. So I decided to keep it. Running water/meth injection now too.

Yeah i know abut the return. Its goin to add up real fast but i really am thinkin its the way to go. I have been buying alot of stuff to upgrade what i have now ( Yukon coils, low pro wastegate to fix that issue, all the couplers and clamps replaces, etc.) Aslo had to spring for a new INT-X. All of this while trying to move and get things in order on that front. so now i have seals to buy and then commit to the e85 or not. I am really wanting to though. More for the safety issue then the more power issue.

I would like to see your setup. You should come to one of the hooters car shows on mondays. There is usually a pretty decent turnout and i would get to see your setup. I suggest this little show cuz i know your not into the late night meets we have on sat that usually end up in playin a little on the street.

From what i read though your running low boost. You even using the meth kit now?

Yeah i knwo ryan quite well. They have gotten alot better as they have became more popular. Its still a little hit or mis. Its funny that the two days my car was running i went to this meet. Ryan actually told me about you and your car and asked if we had talked. He was actually out last sat night in his car.

Right now i am just wanting to get my car back up and on the road. Its agrivating looking at it and nto being able to drive it. But all in good time i suppose.

Phish you don't need a super fuel system if you gonna run low boost. just upgraded injectors should be enough for anything below 10psi. If you can get by running 13psi on regular gas you should be ok with e85. Just upgrade your fuel pump and injectors and you should be all good. Until you want more power. Spend all your money on a better turbo before you go with alternate fuel, just a thought.

How does a late September meet sound? gives everyone time to look at this and get something ready. also Im trying to give me some time to get my rx3 blasted and at least primered for the meet..

Agreed on the upgraded turbo. However its one of those things where i want e85 to be safer but then once its on the car its like, well if i hve it then why not turn the boost up. I just do not want to do it half way then wish i upgraded everything. Also as far as just upgrading the injectors, would you have to make it a return system anyway along with upgrading the fuel rails. Those things are crazy tiny.

What size tank did you get with your meth kit? the 1 gal or the 5 gal? also, how fast do you go through a gallon? just curious i have never obviously used one of these kits. I was thinking the 1 gal if i went with it but curious on how often it woudl need to be filled. ( obviously depends on how much your in boost)

To tell you the truth man, unless you plan to use e85 100% of the time i wouldnt go with it. The trouble and expense of upgrading everything just so you can use e85 some of the time is not worth it. Remember that with e85 you have to get a completely different tune than regular gas. So you will have to switch tunes every time you change fuel type. Also you will have to drain the whole tank before filling with e85 and vise versa.
But no you don't need a return line if you just gonna upgrade injectors and stay with in that 10psi. All the return does is makes sure you don't keep "hot" fuel in the rails and feed "cooler" fuel. But if you are doing a whole rail/injector setup might as well do a return. Should only cost you like 150 bucks. $40 in hose, and all the fittings which add up.. Check Rx7/ other forums for deals on fuel systems. saw a FPR and Fuel system kit on 7site for 225. you may not of been able to use the rails but you save atleast 200 in fittings.

Remember it doesn't spray AI all the time, only when you turn it on. And that would be when you decide to run it hard i would guess. So it would depend on your driving habits?

As far as the e85 goes. If i went e85 i would run it all the time. There are stations for it poppin up all over des moines and one is actually about 2 blocks from my house. I think the only time i woudl run reg gas would be if i went on a trip and could nto find the e85.

i read the meth works on a progressive unit and pumps the proper amount needed based on a built in boost gauge. thus you coudl set it to tun on at say.. 7psi up. This is how i am reading the AEM anyway. If i am wrong feel free to correct me on that one.
