Good WI Dealerships?

I recently bought a used 04 BB Gt w/ Nav and am looking for a good dealership to have it serviced at. I am in central WI (near Wausau) but am more than willing to make a road trip out of a service appointment to go to a good dealer. Just looking for others experiences good or bad so I know where to go and where not to.
Thanks much!

I only have experience with the Madison dealership, but went there twice for service. They did the brake pad squeal/replacement and replaced the broken parking brake boot/handle thing (plastic broke in -30 temps) without complaint. Then, I had them do the recall work (heat shield blanket thing) and that went without a hitch. I do oil changes and wheel swaps at home. They seem to be cooperative and knowlegeable, as far as I can tell. They also gave me a take-home loaner for a week when they couldn't get the parts right away. I live near LaCrosse, about 2 hours away. I'm comfortable with them, and I'm planning to go back to have the tail lights replaced sometime - water in the lenses.

I have just bought my '04 8 from the madison dealership and they suggested to let them do the oil change because they keep some of the old oil in due to the nature of the Rotary engine. I can see where most shops wouldn't know about this, but is it true or is it them trying to squeeze more money from me?

they are just trying to squeeze more money out of you. unless you have some other reason to have the dealership do it, i would do your own oil. that way there is a much smaller chance of messing something up, plus normally you can use better oil than the dealership would, and a better filter for less. i figured that doing the oil change myself cost me roughly $10, plus I get a better filter than the OEM mazda one, and better oil.

just my 2 cents

Hey I'm new to the Madison area moved here from NYC, I have a quk question.
I got a question of topic. I have been reading about the recall. I got a letter last month extending my warrenty, but nothing in regards to the actuall emisions check. I asked the dealer here in Madison and he said until I get that letter they can't look at my car. They said I need to bring the actual letter in with me. Is he BS me or what ?

They should be able to run the VIN and see if you have any open recalls - that's what my dealer did - I've heard conflicting reports on the letter, some are getting it, others aren't (I didn't) Some have also referred to this as a "voluntary recall". If that dealership won't help, I'd find another one.
