Evolv-Chicago Kick-Off Meet
Hey guys!
2009 is here and our first official meet of the season is just over a week away!
We will be meeting at Portillo's on the Saturday the 24th. Click the link for more details!
In case you missed RSD's HUGE message earlier, we have set up a new website for our club at EvolvChicago.org Click our logo in my sig for the main site!
We will be keeping all specific information (time, address, updates) for each meet there and only be posting announcements about our meets over here and on 7Club. Each time we announce a meet we will include a link to that specific meet on our site, so it won't be difficult to follow. If you want to know the details, click the link and come on over to the new site!

Anyone that has signed up for a login on the EvolvChicago website, please check your spam bucket for the reply email. We have had friends that have signed up for a login and haven't completed the process. I went ahead and manually approved all those that we knew and were still setting out there.
Hey guys, I thought I'd throw a post in here to see if anyone from your group is planning the trip down to the Deals Gap meet in NC. We have a group from Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Omaha that are meeting up along the way to caravan down together. If you're interested in meeting up along the way PM me, or just pop into the Iowa thread or our Facebook group thing(link in my sig)... we've started planning out our trip and it would be fun to get a big group rolling down the the Tail of the Dragon

CyberSport | March 7th
Hey everyone!
Evolv-Chicago is setting up a CyberSport event at CIR in Addison. It is very similar to whirlyball, and for those of you who don't know what either of those are, think lacrosse in bumper cars, on a basketball court.
More information can be found on our site here. Early registration is required to be guaranteed a chance to play, and the deadline for that is this Friday (sorry for the short notice!)
We'd love to have a bunch of people out for this so click the link and sign up!

Brian Bemis Ford Mazda Hyundai
Friday, May 29th, from 5:30 to 8:00pm - Brian Bemis Ford Mazda Hyundai in Sycamore will be hosting its' second annual Sycamore All Mazda Meet. Evolv Chicago members will once again be joining with Windy City Miata Club and other Mazda owners for this event. Free food, DJ, giveaways and more. Last year we had myself, Al Nielson, MDW1000, lilring, yanaki, and some others (for a total of about 7-10 rx-8's). There was one rx-7 (right hand drive FC) and over 35 Miatas from Windy City Miata.
This is a good dealership, there are no sales guys bothering people, just a nice big, well-lit parking lot cleared out for us, food and good conversation. Hey guys, I'm heading up to the great white north (Chicago, for the dense ones among us 
) on Friday. I've ended up being more busy than I expect every other time I've visited, but I'm hoping to make it out to see you guys one of these times. I'll keep an eye out for any plans - feel free to update me directly: Rhawb on AIM. Hope to actually see you guys this time!
Edit: Forgot to mention I'll actually be staying closer to the Naperville area. So, if anyone wants to set up a meet out that way, I certainly wouldn't object!
