Wife had to work at the last minute, hope it was fun.

 

We had 7 people and 4 RX8's show up. A good time was had by all.

altho now I feel inadequate driving stock, especially after seeing Adam's turbo setup

 

Definitely a great sunday night meet location. Hardly anyone there, and lots of TVs.

this weekend is busy for me, i'll be at byran race track for the drag races. my school rented out the track for the day. friends and family are welcome. and sunday i'm autocrossing too

yeah us two are going to the drag strip than the AutoX.

AutoX is on Sunday at Maywood Park in Merlose Park. west of the intersection of North avenue and 1st avenue.

Its hoasted by the Polish Rally Club...so you will see about 90% AWD Subaru's and Mitsubishi's....it will be very entertaining!!!

soooo thus far i've only been able to go to one of the Portillo's meet & greets...I'd like to see if anyone would be interested in a meet & greet at AUGUSTINO'S ITALIAN DELI in West Chicago. They've got the best Italian sub and some of the best sandwiches around.

It might be a good opportunity to meet some of the fellow RX-8 owners around and just to relax, maybe grab a beer, and see what local's have done with their cars.

If anyone's interested maybe we could all agree on a date?!

Not sure about the link , but usually you need to show up early around 9:00am for the set up. I've been there a few times , last time they had the Viper Club , about 26 Vipers , was nice . Whats unusual is that they normally do this on Saturdays, but o'well. It's on 5th ave and North ave , SW side, big parking area there. I might stop by . I don't run anymore since I put my body kit , not worth pulling that sucker out ................

 

Well, I know this weekend is out for me, but the following weekend might work. We also have a cruise coming up on Oct 11th that we'd love to have you out for.

Only thing we ask of people at meets is that they not act like asshats and attract unwanted attention Also, no donuts, crazy driving, etc at the meet location. Other than that, all there is to planning a meet is basically picking a time and place. We've had meets with as little turnout as 2 people, and as big of a turnout as 70 people.

 

If you don't hit a cone, it isn't a problem. But if you don't hit a cone that day, you probably aren't trying hard enough.
