Thank God someone can predict the weather!!!

 

us rockford-ians are heding out rain or shine. after all, us, and our car's are waterproof! we dont melt!

heading out in about an hour, should be there about 3 or so.

 

WOW! What a great, great turnout today!!! At last count, we had 40+ cars and 70+ people!!!

Thank you to all of the people who showed up early to help set up, those who brought food and stuff to share (omg, steaks!!!), and those who donated coveted prizes at the raffle!!!!

A special thank you to all of the organizers who have so kindly donated a LOT of time to planning a great 2008 season for EVOLV-Chicago. Without you, this event would not have happened. Huge props to Aero8, alnielsen, mdw1000, and ranchan02 (in alphabetical order of course) for all of your help!!

It was great to see all the new faces AND some of the old too!

by far, one of the bigger meets ive been too.

only downside was my shitty flat tire. but at least we got it fixed, and back on the pavement quickly!

i had a great time today, as usual everyone was very nice.

Small world too, i met up with Rick? i think that was his name, we both game on Counterstrike and he knew of my clan! woohoo!!! bkp4life.net!! haha

that would have been me. thank god good year was still open! lol. i think its a hint i need to hurry up and put some real rims on the damn car!

that was the first meet here and it was awesome (the only bad part was driving to various groves going to the right one ..... hahah ) ...... food was awesome .... especially the steaks

 

i missed all the food while on my tire fix run. didnt even get a burger.

but after the meet, i hit up the mall, and found a red robin! good eat's! lol

 

that sucks you should have told me i would have fired my grill back up

no worries. i did get a mazda hat from the raffle, since my friend that came along stayed behind and won it, and doesnt even own a mazda! so that made my day! lol. im actually wearing it right now.

i really want to thank everybody in EVOLV for a great meet. and just seeing the blue rx8 made me think of the OAC meet earlier this year doing the gangsta donuts in that empty parking lot. that was unreal!

i have a few pic's i took of that too! you were straight barreling down when you were doing them. very gutsy! i think we all were quite impressed at the end of that showing.

Also forgot to say thanks to Luis for doing all the cooking! I think he did a great job!
