lol, Indiana is like 45 minutes away...there are actual signs along the highway that advertise "Fake IDs Here!"! warning, however, last time a shorty tried to use their fake, they took it and called the police...i had already gotten in the bar but i saw them running away from the bouncer outside

 

Morgan, my wife and I aren't into the bars, even though we may go in to shoot the breeze or play some pool. From what I saw on the Dragon video I could hang with the pool players just fine, and I haven't played in over two years. I'm not any good either, you guys must have really been drinking all day long.

Sounds like this is going to be a blast... very cool to see all the interest. There's so much cool stuff to do downtown- we spend about one weekend a month down doing a museum, Navy Pier (I love the live music at the beer garden), Gino's East or Ed Debevics, etc.

BTW, for any Chicago 8's that don't frequent the MW forum- there's a big get together/cruise with the RX7 club guys at the Streets of Woodfield, 2pm, this Saturday (16th).

I can't speak on behalf on all the others, as I'm not sure I'm even attending. I don't don't think anyone would have any objections whatsoever to you meeting up with the everyone. Of the folks I have meet from these forums, I can't think of anyone who wasn't a decent person..... I'd welcome any of them into my home.

I'm sure this meeting in Chicago is going to be one hell of a time, considering the characters who are getting it together. :D :D :D

Besides, after this event, you'll probably want to go home and trade-in your WRX for an RX-8. LOL

 

I was thinking BEFORE I saw you post in here that you DEFINITELY have to come to this event.

 

That settles it, if Ike's going to be there I'm definitely leaving town as planned that weekend. :p

And I definitely think I'm going to make it to the Chicago get together tomorrow for anyone else that may be interested in thinking about going.

 

Ok how about a compromise.....tarring and feathers! :D Ike, you're like the black sheep of the RX8 family :p And since you're still family, you're more than invited. But we can't promise what will happen to you, so you might want to sleep at an undisclosed location :D

 

Just find a straightaway and outrun all the RX-8s. :D
