A thread like this might have already been made in the past, but I think that it would be awesome if there was a local thread where people from the Chicago area could post parts for sale. I really enjoy craigslist and actually buy and sell items from local people quite often, so I think this would be a fabulous idea to organize local items for sale. I myself am not in the financial position to buy all of my after market parts new, so I am always looking for locals who are selling items that would interest me. If this is a bad idea or already tried, just delete this post.

Well, from what I read in the Forum Rules, there aren't to much that is forbidden to be posted for sale. In the RX8 Classifieds forum you can only post items related to the RX8 (all though I did post my RX7 there). So, I can see things like computer parts to bathroom vanities being sold here. But for RX8 parts, you would be better off in the Classifieds section.

Thats fine, I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy and benefit from local sellers - even if the items were not car/RX-8 related. I am a very impulsive buyer, so when I see something interesting or something I could use, I usually pick it up (budget permitting). I just thought it would be a cool.

I am closing the "Chicago For Sale/Wanted" thread because it seems to violate forum rules now that I have reviewed them again.
