Ok thanks to the hurricane i had to cancel my trip to south beach fl.

Since my friends and I are bummed out we are going to chicago for the weekend. Well we want to but have no idea where to go


We want to go to a place to party.. with bars and clubs. ive heard downtown chicago, but once again i have no clue what to look for. any help would be much APPRECIATED!!!

wrigleyville is usually a good place to start. There are alot of bars near the intersection of clark and addison.

For nightclubs I would suggest any of the following: Rive Gauche, Zentra, Ontourage, Vision.

la passage, but really expensive and trendy, all right near Rush street so you can bar hop. That's more of a touristy area though, which I don't like in my opinion

Sorry, for the latest Dance clubs I'm long out of it.

A safe bet IMO would be to go up Rush to State & Division where there is a block of bars that are usually mobbed with people who take over the street. Like TRX8MD said, it's touristy but there's a dance club, sports bars, and just plain drunken mayhem.

The cool thing about Chicago is that for miles upon miles there numerous bars and restaurants on just about every block. The fun part is just having no plans and wandering from place to place.
