Oh that sucks!! you could just stop by with out your Mazda. Then we could gather a list of everyone that is interested in meeting up again so then we can all just e-mail each other.
You're right, it would be pretty fun to Rock out the Rock Band, but we gotta do that at someone's house. I could check with the wife and see if she's OK with car fanatics rockin' out at our house, lol.
Well i got the ok to have people over at my place! i can set up some Tvs and chairs in my garage so then we could have a cool breeze. So everyone is welcomed to come here. Also can you make a map link?? cause some people from the 7club dont know where its at.

Basically, if you can find your way into Cedar Rapids on I-380, take the Wilson Ave. exit heading East. You'll go through one stop light and one four way stop, after that look to your right for the entrance to Jone Park. Drive straight back and you should see somebody.

I told you we should of done this earlyer, and not relied on the dealer.

I know, I forgot to put this stuff on the page from the beginning, next time The dealer is bringing beverages and goodie bags, I didn't feel like pushing my luck and begging for more, I want to stay on their good side so that they feel like coming back to meets in the future. I have charcoal and fluid and stuff for the grill, and I thought I'd bring an extra cooler besides the one Mazda brings for any extra stuff(meat, drinks) people bring along. There's a Hy-Vee right by the park to pick stuff up too. I updated the first post to list food items and names, do you want to pick something from that list and I'll put your name next to it and anyone else that wants to contribute, post it up and I'll mark it down so we know who's bringing what.

It's not supposed to rain all day, high 72, scattered showers. It's not actually raining right now... just still wet. I'll check the radar again, but it's supposed to clear up in a couple hours.
Cool meet guys! I'll try to be a little more organized next time All in all a good day, weather started out crappy but turned out nice. I guess I picked a bad weekend though, forgot about the Iowa vs. Iowa State game. We'll have to start planning a real good midwest meet for Spring! I took some pictures, I'll upload them later. Thanks to everyone that showed up, and those that didn't.... where were you! Just kidding, I need to plan the next one out a little better and a little more in advance
