Anyone from KY?
Keeping an eye out for the locals...
Good to see some folks around the Louisville area.
I've ran with the local Mazda club a bit, active in autocross and drive 500+ miles a week. I have a 08 anniversary edition with basic bolt-ons and few handling upgrades.
Happy to meet up occasionally.

Are you the guy with the HKS single exit exhaust. If so I met you at a MWMC meet. I had the winning blue 04. I also saw your car at the last cars for coffee. Mine wasn't there cause I rode in with my buddy in his 930.
Saturday morns and early afternoons are good for me. Hang out or short cruise is always good.
Hey Kentuckians, I don't live there but I head to the ville about once a month or so to train martial arts and hangout with family. I just spent the whole last weekend down there for memorial day. I'm down to meet up next time you guys are planning a little social event so post it on here.

Cars and coffee is sat at captains quarters on river road from 10 to whenever everyone leaves. lol. I will be there not sure if the 8 will be cause last month I drove in with my buddy in his Porsche. There is usually one or two 8's thou. Lets try and get a Bee hive up there lol.
I'll be there
I'll be there 15 minutes early to get a spot. Come late and you'll be parked next to the Ford Pinto with rust. lol
(I can say that...I had one Booger Green with Rust on top.)

Had a good morning...
Cars and Coffee was pretty good. Good turnout and some cars I haven't seen in prior events. Location is an upgrade from the other site.
Caidoz, pretty sure I saw your car...blue right? My son camped-out with his PSP in the car but better than him bumming around the house.
Autocrossing tomorrow to finish off the weekend. Have fun folks.

Yeah I was the Winning Blue one that was parked next to the white M6. I got there a little late. Saw your car and boy but never saw you. There were like 5 rotaries there in all. Two 8's Two 7's and a swapped bug eye sprite. Good times.
Checking in from Paducah. Just picked up the silver car mentioned being seen in Murray on 641 in this thread. Should be running in a few days. Plan to set it up for autocross locally and track days in Nashville, St. Louis, and Memphis.
I have some events Lemons racing in an RX7 but this is my first ownership of a rotary. Gonna be fun.

Great to see new folks.
If you are a newer RX8 owner then you are at the right website. If you have any questions about regional events or you know of some, share.
If you Autocross, my local SCCA chapter in Louisville is debuting a new site at the Kentucky Expo Center on July 15th. This site is substantially larger and that means longer runs and higher speeds than usual. Check out the website information at:

We have folks from other regions that come (Lexington, Cincinatti, Indiana).

Our site is WKSCCA.com and we are on Facebook also. I am a safety steward and secretary of our local group. Our events usually run 20 to 30 cars and I also run at Lawrenceville Illinois with Southern Indiana Region. Some of the locals have said they might want to run in Louisville at some time but it's a pretty good haul.
