Any 8's in Madsion, WI or surrounding Area
I just moved to Madison, WI last month from NYC. I my 8 back in Feb. of 2006. Titanium gray 6 speed. I'm also new to the rx-8 club family. Since I'm close to Chicago I will definitely try to make it to some meets. My car is all stock, I finally convinced my wife to set up separate savings accounts that way she can't B*%$H about me spending money on upgrades. Before my 8 I drove a 1994 Camaro Z28. My Z had more kick but my 8 is much more fun to drive. Just want to know if their are any 8's in the area. I havn't seen any yet?

I guess 8's are a rare thing in WI. I got more looks here than I did in NYC.

looking for rims with tires preferabily and condition does not matter aslong as they are not bent or cracked. going to be refinnishing them and painting them. thanks!

Yeah, I am a new owner as of late August. My first rotary, but I love it!
I have not seen a single RX-8 in Madison -- mine is brilliant black so that's me driving on the west side.

Yep. Already on the list. I met redshedevil at MRR in August. Hope to make some of the Chicagoland events soon. It would be great if we could get more interaction between the rxclubofwi and the Chicagoland club. We're so close and both seem to have great opporunities for drives, race events, etc.....

Don't know about cool, but the '8 brings out the latent car enthusiast that maybe we thought had died a few years ago. I haven't been so obsessed with a car in over 25 years. I don't know if that is good or bad, but it sure has been fun for the last 18 months!!!
