2006 Spring Spin Around Chicago Meet

Date: March 30th
Time:8:00pm

Well I think a Downtown cruise is awsome I got an idea of a type of cruise it myight be so here it is if any one got ideas please share. Cameras would be nice.

START
1. MEET GET
TOGETHER:
-East on Upper Wacker Drive
(As soon as all get around cruise begins)
2. CRUISE:
-Start cruise from E. Upper Wacker
Drive making a RIGHT on Michigan Ave.

-Cruise Up and Back Down on Michigan Ave.
to E. Jackson Dr. and make a LEFT

-Going straight on Jackson Dr. and make
a LEFT on Lake Shore Dr.

-From Lake Shore Dr. Exit to Navy Pier
3. PIT STOP:
-Stop at Navy Pier so everyone can catch up
and take some photos
4. CRUISE
CONTINUED:
-From Navy Pier leaving on W. Grand
head down couple blocks Rush Street
and make a RIGHT
-Cruisin down Rush Street throught the clubs
and make a LEFT on Division
-From Division make a RIGHT on Clark and
for a couple minutes will be heading down Clark
till we meet Addison and make a LEFT.
-Take Addison all the way down to I-94 and
take the highway to O'Hare(Not Michigan)
-Take the Highway to Exit N. Cumberland
and make a RIGHT on Higgins to Hooters
Resturaunte.
5. PIT/FINISH:
-Park at Hooters and Enjoy the rest of the night.

If anyone has ideas to change be free to post, information may change
before official cruise.

That sounds awesome, PM would be best, after dark. How about March 11th. The following weekend is St. Patty's and that would be too crazy a night to do this. Reserve the weekend after St. Patty's, March 25th, incase the weather is really bad on the 11th. Any thoughts???

 

Yea I was thinking end of march weather should be nicer to stay out longer. I also have made an invitation for some rx7club peeps so they be meetin us up there too. Seems like alot of them and us seem to wanna show.

 

Just keep me posted on when you have a set date and I'll post it up!!

I travel to the Chicagoland area for work every other week. Im a district manager for Meijer.... anybody live close to any Meijer stores? I usually stay within 5 miles of them on my trips. Would love to hang with some 8 guys and or gals for some beers or dinner when Im up...

I usually stay in Naperville, St. Charles, Elgin, or Rolling Meadows....

 

I know we have people that live near the Naperville Meijers store. I work near there.

BTW, I grew up about 10 miles away from the original Meijers location in Greenville MI.

if it's the place we stopped over at during the last cruise ... it's a strange little cul-de-sac that is over the lower wacker to LSD ramp. does that make any sense? no! lemme see if i can find a decent map to see if it's even where im thinking it is ...
