Well I gone and done it

This isn't really RX8 stuff, but it is regional. Here is my story. Good news I might be able to go to the roll out since I am off work for a while. Man brings tears to my eyes just thinkin about my baby. This happened by double eagle airport, on paseo de valcon. Last night we decided to go for a nice ride, a little windy but nothin to even worry about, so we decide to hit the fun *** road Paseo De Valcon. A very nice ride, you can really get some nice lean. Anyways so coming around this turn not pushing it to hard, getting kinda low, everything seems fine and going so good, well before I knew it the back tire skid out from underneath me and I was gone, over the bike bouncing onto the road then slid off into the dirt. The bike did a few flips and well it is just in pieces now. I am so lucky though, I just have some road rash, a fucked up hip and scrapes on my leg and my shoulder hurts like hell. I was wearing all the right safety equipment and that saved my ***. When I came to I had no idea where I was or what had happened. Sat there for a few minutes smoked like a pack of cigs and got myself together. So after getting up and kinda walking away from the road, a car we see coming around the turn, looks to be going to fast for the turn coming up, so we start running and sure enough he locked up and slid within a foot of the other bikes and almost took me and my boy out. Then the ****** just reversed it and left, we through **** at his car and ****. A flat bed tow truck came and took all the pieces so I will try to get pics when I go to the wrecking yard. This is the first time I have ever been down. We went and looked at the markings on the road where I went off and saw there was a lot of loose sand and ruble form the wind (we are in the desert). What can you do. I hope to have a new bike here in a week or so, with the insurance money. All in all a shitty day. I knew it was going to be a bad to, cause earlier while going to lunch just driving on unser, a ****** car decides to do a u-turn in the middle of the road right in front of, and I had to lock em up and get sideways just to avoid him.

holy crap, Ronnie. I'm glad to hear you're okay. I'm guessing you had a helmet on this time?
Thank God....
