That is pretty damn awesome. Very creative running the switch light through the same power source. I'm impressed. Let me know what he charges ya to build you a board.

Welp, it takes like 5 hours to build, so he's asking (I think) like $120.

Yeah, I hear ya. One thing to keep in mind thoough: the rear fog is waaaaaaay brighter than the rear brake lights. So, if you're going to hook it up to the brake lights, you'll need to wire in a resistor to reduce the power output.

Omicron, have you thought about upgrading to ceramic brake pads? That's a fairly simply $90 upgrade that would keep the dust off of your soon-to-be-painted calipers, etc.

Just a thought.

Yup, and a good one. And oddly enough, I have thought about this... ... and decided that when my stock brake pads wear out, I'll likely go with a set of these "Project U" pads that VividRacing sells. Info here.

Omi, can you take a pic of your rear side panel.. I want to see if that Rear flare works with the MS Sideskirts.. because that's what I wanted to do.. the rear MS diffuser takes away one of the best part of the car in my opinion.

You betcha... actually already did. Check starting at this post for a full set of pictures. And I agree with you about the MS rear - I just plain don't like it.

Funny, no one has ever asked me that. I guess I would have spent around $4500 on everything, 'cept I get some pretty special deals due to my "connections." :D

Omicron,
Just noticed that you have the MS side skirts on your car. Is the ground clearance pretty much the same with the "appearance front"? I am planning on keeping the front and replacing the side and rear bumper. Thanks!

Clearance on the side skirts, as I recall, is about 5 iches. The front appearance package lip is somewhere between 5.5 and 6 inches. But I also have Tein H-Tech springs on my car, which drop it about an inch. Regardless, clearance is almost never an issue - it's only the worst speed bumps that I touch, and even then only when I forget to be careful.

Hope this helps!
