Front bumper cover
Is there a good aftermarket shop on the front range that sells body kits? I had someone back into my car while the valet was parking it. I was thinking about taking the insurance money and buying a body kit. Recommendations welcome.
Also, if you have a front bumper cover available, I will be happy to take it off your hands. Eric |

Not bad. Ding about the size of a grapefruit.

Oh. Well the insurance may just find it cheaper to buy a new Bumper Cover so you might want to get a kit with it. I garauntee you're gonna bee looking at over 1k to get the damaged fixed. I used my insurance money when I hit a guy that passed a red light and when some backed into my 8. I got a body kit and graphics with it. This last time I got a whole new paint job and new side skirts. I <3 insurance.
This is what mine looked like. Not bad for side swiping someone @ about 30MPH. That was the only damage beside some scuff marks on the headlight. Attachment 264685 |

Hello Colorado RX8'ers.
My name is Angelo and i used to have an 05 8SE. Sorry to admit this but i had to let her go...yes i do miss her. Anyway, just before i traded in the rx i picked up a set of Goodyear Eagle (EMT i think) tires. They are 275 35 18 and trust me they will fit your stock sport suspension. They are in my way now so i was wondering if any local rx8 guys wanted to pick up a set of used tires before the summer gets here. They have great tread on them and would last at least two summers of hard mountain driving (thats how i drove my rx). I would like to get the $100.00 i paid for them back since they are a great tire and worth much more. If any of you or anyone you know are interested please send me text me at 720-495-7076. Thank you and happy motoring! |
Wow, what happened to the RX8 club in Colorado?? Anyway, I have a few RX8 items I'm wanting to get rid of. Let me know if you are interested. I'm out in SE Aurora. I don't want to ship any of this (unless you want to pay for it...). Here is what I have:
4 small (1/43 scale?) diecast rx8s. Red, Blue, Silver, and Black. Really nice book about the RX-8 History: ISBN 4947659025: see on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/RX-8-Worlds-Co.../dp/4947659025 I also have a 1/18 scale red diecast rx8 that i'm not sure if i want to get rid of yet. |

It's still there. CMZC.Net. There's hardly any RX-8s on there in the Denver Area. I'm like the only 8 from Denver that shows up to any meets. The majority if not all, seem to be in CO Springs.
I actually saw two in Ft. Collins. |

<-- In Denver, never know when/where the meets are. Saw something about the Sonic meets, but guess those have gone kaput?
Btw, highway 67 off Santa Fe = Awesome drive (assuming no slow car in front of ya) |
yea im near the denver area (Brighton/ thornton). i see one other rx8 driving around but not a lot... anyway what did ever happen to the sonic meet? this summer we need to get some other 8's and go crusing in the mtn. haha
|
I was suprised we didn't have any RX-8's show up at the Mazda meet at Speed Raceway.

I've lived here all my life and I hardly see an 8. Maybe 2-3 every 2 months. When I went to Cyprus and Greece I saw more 8's there in 2 months than I have here in 6 yrs. That includes the RX-8 meet we had once.
Sad I know. That's hard to believe considering how many rx-8s I see driving around Colorado springs |
I tried to register for Colorado Mazda club forums but for some reason it won't let me...
It says waiting for admistrater approval, and I first signed up I think about two Weaks ago |
Inverness 8s... I know of a red, white(for sale) and blue one in addition to my red. How many more are there in this complex?
|

Btw, highway 67 off Santa Fe = Awesome drive (assuming no slow car in front of ya) We also do the Sonic on 96th-ish and Federal. Think those are Fridays but not sure if they started up again. We like the Green Mountain spot cause we can head to the hills and cruise the twisties.
