My car returns from a Mazsport Vacation (more like a bootcamp I hear)

Some parts are there. It was torn up (not because of anything mazsport did mind you), and I dynamatted/heat shielded much of the firewall so it was unnecessary.

is 12psi your max boost right now? And what do you think about an ignition upgrade in the future to make full use of that big turbo?
I envy you for getting the best kit on the market... but I think Ill be doing my own thing soon, so its short lived (fingers crossed).

12 is nowhere near max boost. Just what I feel comfortable running. I don't have an ignition issue.

So are you just keeping things conservative in general, or is there some reason youre not pushing the turbo harder than 12psi?
With your upgraded ignition you shouldnt have to worry about spark blow out, so why not use the turbo more for whats its capable of?

Because I like all of my seals in 1 piece, and I live in CA which means I only have access (most of the time) to 91 Oxygenated gas or about 89 octane where you are from. You can only pull so much ignition to compensate.

Thanks and will do. Waiting for a few parts on my car to be announced, then I will post a whole boat load of pics and vids. I think I have a couple of camera men lined up as well.

Now turbo!
Car looks awesome, and I bet it's even better to drive. How are you liking the Microtech dash? I've been thinking about getting one and would like to hear some first-hand reviews.

Can't live without the dash. Real time monitoring and then the best part... no need to bust out a laptop if something is fishy... just pull over and modify. It is AMAZING, switching maps on the fly is also awesome. Ignition lock is pretty damn sweet too... not to mention how nice it is to get all that info right at your fingertips.
