Scott, I chickened out and took my 8 and your interceptor x to a local tuning shop. They have 0 enperience with Mazda and the 8 but they at least knew not to take chances and the concept.
Now we are having a problem. He can not find the N/A map in the system. A young lady at your shop has been very helpfull but not able to solve our problem. Could you please PM me and I will give you his phone number. I don't want my 8 to take root in his shop.

 

Actually Phil the N/A map is already loaded, all Interceptor-X unit's have the application map loaded when shipped. Send me his # and I will give him a call,Scott

I guess I'll leave it another night - If you can call him tomorrow I would be happy. He says that he is leaving messages with his cell number and shop number but has not yet received a response. I've always been able to get you so there must just be a little glitch. If we do not get together tomorrow morning, i'll just remove the unit untill you two can talk. I do not have his cell number just his shop number (702) 367-6615 as he does not open untill 10am.

I must tell you people that i too purchase a intercepter and my mechanic said he is very helpful in returning calls and helping you out with any problems. Very good support from Scott.
