I'd be interested in R3 sideskirts as well, I know there's another thread but whatever, my local dealer here wants 800+ a side, my oem mazdaspeed's cost me that painted for both so I'm completely dumbfounded as to how they got that price. Color is irrelevant as I'll be getting them painted, thanks in advance for your help.

Glad to hear this hasn't gone away, Paul :]. I was worried since I hadn't heard an update in quite some time (since you let me know about hunting down the best pricing for sides and the bumper between your available suppliers). I'm happy being patient so that I can work with you, as opposed to somebody else...just wanted to check in with you. Thanks for the update...I'll continue to be patient, and keep my fingers crossed for the best possible news.

Warning: When I have full prices (Still lower than anywhere else), I will require prepayment and the parts will take up to 6 months from Japan to me.

Paul.
I'd be interested in a Crystal White Pearl R3 front bumper cover only without the lower lip pieces at that price. What is the estimate of shipping to 94122? Would a business/trucking place be cheaper to ship to than a residence?

Depending on what works out best, Paul, maybe we could make this work better with just getting the pre-painted covers from Japan, and then sourcing the lower lip pieces (and for some of us, possibly side skirts, since they all come pre-painted) through MNOA? I'm not sure how much that would affect price and/or availability, but I figured I'd throw it out there. I'm also curious about whether or not it would be cheaper to ship these to a place of business...I know a few friends that work at body shops in the area, and could probably make that solution work, if it was to our advantage.

I'll start pushing this process again shortly. I have not pursued this in a while.

Sounds good...I can't wait to hear what news comes down the pipeline. Again, I appreciate all the hard work you're doing on this, Paul.

Same here. Bumper cover only, no lip. Maybe if the cost savings were pretty good, maybe we can ship two to the same place..

As the S2 Japan Accessory Catalog says..
F1Y7-50-03XA** (** paint colour code), for 46,200 Yen or about $600 (old price) + Shipping
F1Y7-50-03XABB non painted in USA for about $400

I agree! Side skirts are also available and come painted available in u.s. for about $1600 or so.

Zumn, I hope you realize that you are in my sub forum and I pay the prettiest penny of all the vendors to be here.

I can beat the prices of any dealer in the US on the US available goods. The objective here is to provide the items that don't come painted in all colors and to do it at a decent discount.

I think we can provide everything requested and should know within one week.

Thanks again to everyone who has waited more than patiently.

Paul.

Yes Neofreak and I are in the same area. So that's two Crystal White Pearl R3 bumpers to San Francisco.

Seeing as I'm somewhat close to Georgia in general US proximity (and therefore, Mazmart), hopefully someone else ordering along with me on the east coast can make our orders a little easier :]. I'm really looking forward to where all this goes with the news you've given me, Paul. All this hard work you've done for me is greatly appreciated. I'm happy to purchase what I need from Mazmart when I can, and this is yet another example of exemplary customer service that makes me happy to stick with you, Paul.

It also makes me very happy to see that this has proven beneficiary to many S2 owners. When I first approached you with this idea, I didn't really think anyone other than myself would jump onboard...so hopefully this all goes well, and we have some happy upgrades made with full OEM parts :].

I think I will provide the bumper cover pre-sale within 2 days to get the ball rolling. The other components are still in the mix.

Sounds good! Please send me a PM when you do. That way it sets off my email, just in case I don't see it here first :].

The Big Announcement

Okay. Those who want in on this purchase, these are the details. I am now taking a 50% non refundable payment for the bumper covers in your color painted by Mazda. When they get here (In about 6 months time approximately) you will need to pay the remainder and for your shipping to your destination. They are coming to our warehouse first after customs and all of that jazz. Shipping can vary greatly so please factor that in to your decision to participate. If you would like to research the cost, consider the package to be about 72x24x22. I should be able to shave off dollars from whatever you find on your own, or pick it up here. If you make your prepayment and the parts arrive, you must complete your payment of the other 50% within 30 days of being notified. You are welcome to pay for shipping at the same time or we can hold your part as long as you would like. IMPORTANT: Not paying your balance gives up your claim to the part altogether.

Bottom line: You can pay $200.00 US now by paypal to paul at mazmart dotcom and we will send you confirmation. $200 to be paid when contacted plus shipping.

Afterward I would suggest coming back to this thread so we can publicly see your order with it's color etc to keep everyone accountable.

It's always a pleasure and honor to serve here.

Paul.

Still, is it really only $400?! Is so, I'm in. I can handle that. Hopefully shipping doesn't double that cost, but if I only have to do $200 now, I'm definitely in on this. How certain are we that the bumper cover will arrive at my house in good shape? If it's all scratched up, that's not a good thing.

Paul, any other information I need for the PayPal order? Just note the paint color and item?

As much info that you can provide will be good: Name, address phone number, last 8 of VIN, Color. Mention RX-8 R3 Bumper cover.

If it is damaged in shipping, my first approach would be to discuss what options are preferred including partial refund but we will be packing properly to reduce that possibility to close to 0 .

I am willing to get this - I hope shipping isn't like $500 bucks or so.

I think typical shipping will be close to $200. Some less and some more. Business addresses will be helpful when the time comes and those of you in the same State or neighboring city that are willing to share shipping can benefit from some more reduction as well.
