My wife got rear-ended at a stop sign yesterday in my rx8. It looks like it's going to need a new rear bumper. Is the black plastic under tray considered part of the bumper or is it a separate piece ? What's the going price for an oem bumper ? I'm wondering if I can put on a Mazdaspeed rear and pay the difference, with the insurance company picking up the rest.

 

The center peice is. Look under the bumper on your back. The 2 side parts are for the exhaust.
