also I am assuming you have the whole assembly and they will just plug in and replace the projector headlights without any major work? Thanks

Completely different main front harness. The connector at the lamp is a 4 pin type versus an 8 pin type on the discharge type (HID).

On a rating of 1 to 10 how difficult to swap these 2 lights out?

That's a tuffy to answer. How difficult for whom? My quick guess would be a 7 or 8 for an average person, since you would have to run some separate wiring. This is the type of thing, if improperly done, that can lead to toasty harnesses or burnt down cars. I can provide the lamps but that's as far as I'll be travelling with you.

What were you expecting them to cost if you don't mind my asking. These used to cost $912 each from Mazda and are currently $467.20 each suggested retail.
