hi paul,

it doesn't have to be off of this car, but i'm looking for a 6-mt shift **** in decent shape and the armrest/center console lid (the piece that slides). got those? thanks!

So you are looking for an engine cover for an 04, not from the 09. Correct???

I'm pretty sure that is not correct. I think the new multi-point brace is standard for all 2009+ RX-8s, at least as far as manuals are concerned. I think the 2009+ autos do retain the old style 2-point brace.

The R3 does have a foam-filled front crossmember that the other models do not. Maybe that's what you were thinking about?
