hmmm the mild steel version's pricing is rather expensive?

From Hymee it only costs 350 + shipping...

You are a US distrubutor...you get your bulk orders from Hymee so shipping costs are minimal...how come you are selling them off for so much more?

As the importer for Hymee stuff for Europe, I hear that kind of stuff all the time.
Peopel don't realize how much it costs to ship a 18kg catback from Australia (airfreight! + trucking) , then there is the EU import tax, VAT, all the handling and admin fees (it's about 70 USD just for a guy to present the custom paperwork to the custom officer!).

I always reply : do it then, please do it and call me back when you have added up all the bills.

If you want to estimate AUS -> US shipping, please try TNT.com or UPS.com...

@ Thew :

I wish you good luck with the launch of Hymee products in US.

Fabrice

well i was just curious because the price Thew set for the stainless steel version was about right where Hymee has setted the price...(Hymee:750 + shipping)(Thew: 821)

But as for the mild steel version the price was abit off from what i expected judging from Hymee's pricing... one of the reasons that the Hymee mild steel version has caught my attention and made me want to get it is because of its good quality and awesome price..but now at that price other options like the RB is present..... im not trying to give a negative rap against your pricing i was just curious Thew no hard feelings

BIU,

one quick note : I'm NOT Hymee! Just his European importer.

Cheers,

Fabrice

Rx8garage.net price includes all the shipping cost from AUS, Hymee's shipping container and UPS ground shipping to your door !

As Fabrice has pointed out the Tax, Customs, Shipping, all add up.. I have rolled all of that into the price. no guessing. And you are not seeing the Gold member prices for rx8club members.

you need to log into my site and place you rx8club name in the shipping address.. then i will give you gold status.

FYI Rx8club member price's
Hymee Stainless will be $753.00 USD
Hymee "Aluminized Mild Steel" $551.00 USD

Both Include UPS ground shipping in the US.

I'm sorry, but this statement is simply not true. I don't even post the price on my site.

Cheers,
Hymee.

that could mean how much it cost them to make now factor in he sells it to rx8garage. they have to turn a profit so price goes up. then you have to purchase it. Buisness isnt barebottom deals plus 500 for a nice exhaust is cheap considering the other systems cost upwards of 1500.

No worries BIU.
That was a LONG time ago! Feb 2004, before it became a little more serious. I forgot I posted that USD price, and was thinking in AUD. The first few were at a discounted rate to reward the early adopters. But it is true, I didn't actually sell any to the US back then. Shipping in single units was very expensive. Now Thew gets them in "bulk" the shipping is much more reasonable.

Cheers,
Hymee.
