TUNER: Perceptions
Tell you what Jeff does...he wakes-up an RX8 in a way that few aftermarket items can do.
I did a full day of track time with my car yesterday on the full course at VIR, and damn if that car didn't pull like crazy. Wonderfully linear power curve with torque down where the car never had it before, and it would seamlessly pull to 9,300rpm with no power drop-off. It hit 118mph at the end of the back straight...or least when I deemed it prudent to toss-out the anchor.
Problem with Jeff's work is that yesterday illustrated that more braking is needed and this is really going to cost me....
For evidence of the tuning, have a look at my Magnaflow exhaust after a day of running....Nice!
