Asked for discount when I revised shipping expenses (but prior to shipping) based on quote from USPS. Accommodated $20 discount because I was already at the post office. Buyer then paid with PayPal's "Pay for goods and services" option rather than "send money to friends" (presumably so he could pay via credit card), forcing me to incur an additional $7.50 in fees. So, on a transaction where I was looking to make $150, I made $122.50, or about 18% less. No hard feelings, but ultimately you will have a better ROI selling to someone else.

Seller should research shipping costs before giving buyer total especially when the difference is $70. took forever to reply to messages and I waited a long time for him to ship. received 4 struts loose in a very big box. The box was coming apart so badly that other people's mail had found its way inside my box. Needs to basically learn everything about shipping, packing, and quoting of shipping costs. Still I left positive feedback for him. Also, I did NOT use a credit card in paypal and did not know I could send him money that way (to a friend) without incurring fees. I would have happily sent him reimbursement for the $7. He could have just said no to the 20 dollar discount and not post negative i trader feedback as well.
