Are you considering selling your car?
I just dropped off my Impala SS to get it detailed and put the for sale sign in the window. Once it is sold, I will be in the market for an RX8.
If you have been thinking about selling a low mileage 6 speed Grand Touring, pm me.
I am not overly worried about color.

I am exhausted. I took my Impala SS to get detailed and then spent the next 6 hours "finnishing" their detail job. I guess you can call me obsessed when it comes to a clean car.
Is jacking up a car to clean the underbody and suspension parts over the top?
I will post pics of my current car soon, and once I sell it, pics of my rx8. If my past with cars continues, many mods will happen. It's a sickness.

I have placed an add for my car. I am getting lots of calls from people who can't afford my car (not like it is worth that much!) I guess the Impala SS from the 90's has "thug appeal" and none of them seem to have more than a few grand cash on them. Oh the waiting game. I can't wait to get out of this car and into something more modern.
Mind you, I have 5 current cars, and only the wife has the modern one (Denali). I am selling my NEWEST one. I am a sucker for old cars but want a bit of reliability. The 1958 Edsel Centurian and 1976 Vette don't exactly fall into the reliability realm.
I SO want to drive a car made in the last few years just to enjoy the reliability.

So, your a collector eh, hmm I may be interested, for the right price.....Not a desperate person about money but what the hell, I've owned it since 04 and not driven it enough. I geuss it was a car I bought out of impulse more than anything but having less than 21,000 on it with a few mods, I consider it still pretty new...redoing a few unfortunate scrape issues on my body kit though, SS in color....

Coop '04 - If you have ever driven a 1996 Impala SS which almost weighs 5000 lbs and has the turning radius of the Exxon Valdez, you would understand the nickname. Some of my friends in the Impala club have had the following license plates: ORCA SS, HVY CHVY, ITS BIG, etc
We are an insane bunch. We picked the biggest, heaviest car and tried to make it go fast. Making a 2+ ton car corner is just crazy. Going from that car to the RX8 is going to be the difference between night and day.
I am going from a car with 500+ lb ft of torqe that only wants to go in a straight line to a car with almost no torqe that really likes it when you get to the twisties. The sad part is I will probably have to learn how to drive again!

If anyone is interested, my add for my Impala just went up on Autotrader. Filter by zip 77584 for a 1996 Impala SS. Mine is the John Moss signature series burgandy one.
