I know this probably isnt the best thread but just wanted to know. WHy are poeple from other regions posting on the gulf cost forums??

Also, I live in shawnee, oklahoma and there are three 8's around here (one of them is mine) and i never see any of them. Do these people just not like to drive or what?

People can post in whatever thread they want to, regardless of what section it is in. Besides, Jedi and I go way back!!!

You'll also find that many 8 owners are as enthusiastic about their vehicles as others. Perhaps they don't like to drive, or maybe it's a weekend car, or maybe they're not driving the same route at the same time as you......

It's the thread content that matters.... not the location they are posting from.

As far as seeing other 8's and developing any type of kinship with them I recommend taking a lesson from some of the more prolific clubs in the region and develop a winshield flyer or some cards to hand to other owners when you see them.

Get something started there in Shawnee or move to where there are more than a handful of rotors.

Yeah, I'd have to say that's pretty hardcore. Of course my emphasis was on the fact that Shawnee is a lil town of just over 30,000 people or so. Oklahoma City is only like 40 miles away and there is a pretty active group up there it seems.

Even-though this forum list's TX, OK, AR, LA as the "Gulf Region" the last time I checked my map
Oklahoma and Arkansas do not have any ocean-front property....
