Where to repair hail damage?..Austin
If you live near North Austin, you probably got hailed on. Unfortunately I was a victim while trying to get home. I got stuck on Parmer and just couldn't go anywhere. I could't see 3 feet in front of me. I just had to sit and take the beating!! Does anyone know of a good shop that can repair minor hail damage? I heard of those shops that pop out dents without body work. Are they reputable?

Damn dude that blows! Hope it wasn't on a new 8
I don't know of any that specifically work on hail damage, but I've heard great things about jeffs auto body on lamar.
A few of the rx7 guys have recommended that place.

Sorry to hear the Gods were against you last night. I worried all night about the hail, but we didn't get any in the south. There are 3 companies that we have used that are based here in Austin.
Texas Dent Works 825-5564 - Dustin
Will's Dent Works 626-3216 - Will
Dent Busters 459-3368 - Brian
Dent Busters is north but a little harder to get scheduled
Texas Dent Works is mobile
Will's is south
Just watch out for the guys in tents that chase hail storms. They usually aren't any cheaper and once they are done they're gone so if you have a problem your generally SOL.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately...yes it was on my 8. Hopefully the repair cost is low. I'll have to do this out of pocket. Going through the insurance will raise my premium.

Actually, that would be covered under your comprehensive policy and I believe State law forbids raising rates on those types of claims. You could actually put some money in your pocket by getting your insurance co to estimate it, because they will use the traditional repair practices for the estimate.

Agree with Budaman......Insurance company can't raise rates on this type of damage.
Still Blows Though.
I've been praying for a nice hail storm as daddy needs a new roof! Damn things keep darting all around but never hit the 'hood.

Only top quality repairs at King of the Ding in North Austin
Sorry to hear about the damage to your RX-8. Good advice to stay away from the tints. Once the works gone so are they. If your in North Austin King of the Ding does awesome work and has earned some great reviews on Merchant Circle, Google Maps, Yelp, Citysearch, and others. The work is second to none and they will tint your car free with hail damaged car repair. Great deal if your cars not tinted yet! Good luck bro.
