Well back to modding the RX8!

In January our Driveway had a new baby added to it. It is the Pontiac Solstice. Been acting crazy ordering for it and completely forgot about the other cars in the Driveway. And since I have to get my wives car up to par to beat Daisy this year I am gonna need to start soon. >LoL< Will be posting pics of it tomorrow since I am on the laptop today and all the pics are loaded on the Home Computer.

No clue really yet. I have a full body kit on the way as of yesterday. Already have the Revi Intake and Exhaust. Looking into some header to add to the mix, but dont really want the OBX one i have seen. Have an email in with Revi about when theirs will be coming out.

Dont really wanna turbo it so i am no sure where i am wanting to go at this point. Any ideas?

By REVi i'm sure you're referring to Racing Beat.

Anyway, congrats on the soltice... looks like a fun car. Look forward to seeing your 8.

Depends on which route you would like to go with the mods. There are enough to keep you busy. My goal in Interceptor by EOY, and Supercharger 1 year after Hymee and Axial releases theirs.

Well havent been on here in a little while. So not sure what all has come out recently. Since it is the wifes car she is a looks person, so I am mostly gonna go looks until i find a decent F/I kit that has been tested and then run with that.

Big0: Hmmmm is that a challenge? We are taking it up to JT Auto Customs next month for a full custom Stereo install. Dunno what is gonna take to win best of show and all, but we like a good challenge!

Well.....something about Racing and RX8 in the same sentence doesnt make sense either.

Upgrading the brake system improves stopping. You dont always need better stopping only when racing i believe

Definetely disagree for many reasons. One would be... If you see the SCCA National B Stock final results from last year... i think RX-8s pretty much owned in their class (killed the Z's)

Wow alot to learn.....
There is always stuff people can learn. Even you!
BTW: If I was wanting to make this my fastest car I would. But since I have an SRT-4 that will blow away the RX8 in a race, it really doesnt seem worth it....

Thanks for the info though.

that's exactly what I mean; automatically assuming a race is in a straight line

thank you for proving my point but seriously, I was just kidding around ... and I never stop learning so go ahead and show me something

Why are u assuming I am also talking about in a straight line?? My SRT is built with autocross inspired Coil-Overs, Sways, and a few other goodies. Last year I beat out the RX8 on the twisties.

I mean it is a giving in a straight line. That would be overkill to even mention that.

Wow someone has a huge ego. No wonder you hide your face. Totally understandable now. Well at least I know you cant win in a straight line.

I'm sure he doesn't care if you would win in a straight. Racers usually care more about the driver skill involved.
