Want to test drive an RX-8 with coilovers?

Hi. I'm new here but I've owned two 1st gen RX-7s before my 8.

I am currently living in Rogers, AR and I have a six speed with JIC FLT-A2 coilovers, strut braces, and stainless steel muffler.

I bought my car last January and only test drove a stock car once.
I honestly don't remember what a stock car sounds or feels like anymore. If someone is considering getting coilovers or would like to know what a JIC exhaust sounds like, I'll gladly take you for spin so you could feel what it's like.

I'm interested in hearing what Racing Beat, Greddy, or Mazdaspeed, or even stock mufflers sound like. Also, if anyone is interested in trading mufflers with me I would consider it.

I'll gladly travel as far south as Fort Smith to meet. Send me a PM if you are interested. Best days for me are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Thanks -Tom

I've always wanted to make a meet, but haven't taken the time to actually do it...

I'll check the intermediate pipe's diameter later today.

As far as trading, I don't want to have any offers made because I don't really know what I want yet. If I get a chance to figure out what I want to do, I'll post the appropriate forum. I was just hoping someone local may be willing to meet for the mean time.

It's 2.5 inch diameter from the cats back to the muffler. Today I had the gaskets looked at connecting to the muffler because all of them had carbon deposits on the piping around them. Sure enough, all had started leaking. I had the gaskets replaced, but I wonder if the appropriate ones were used in the 1st place.

It's amazing what a small exhaust leak can do to the quality and volume of the exhaust note!

This is true. I had one when i installed my High-Flow Cat, but then i realized its because i forgot to put the stock gasket on... problem solved.

I'm confused, are you considering selling the JIC coilovers?

I thought he wanted to trade exhausts and if anyone wanted to take a ride in the car with coilovers... they could.

Warning, dont let TeamRX8 test drive your car. He'll want to see the full limits of those coilovers. HA! I can just imagine yall pulling over to make suspension adjustments.

Lol ! No, I'm not selling coilovers, but I thought I would be nice to let someone see what they are like if they are seriously considering them.

I may trade my exhaust depending on if someone local has an exhaust system that I like more than mine. As of now, I really do like my JIC exhaust, but I know little of what other systems sound like.
