It was tonight wasn't it? Crap. I have some **** I have to do at home, so there was no way I could've gone. Also, I went to work to get TWO freakin' paychecks. :D

 

It was only brillo and I hanging out getting a couple of drinks anyways. The others got busy. He got to see and play with my new RX-7 ecu.

 

Sounded like fun. I might make it out to the next RX-7/RX-8 Club meeting, if I'm not conflicted with nothing of course.

Well today's first day of classes was fun! <Rolls eyes> Parking was a freaking nightmare... and that was just the staff lots! Anyway, here's something I'm sure Shelleys Man will appreciate: I went to UH on Sunday and took a photoshoot of my 8 in front of E. Cullen ( https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...275#post698275 ). It was a lot of fun driving through parts of campus you know people don't usually drive through.

 

Haha. Parking was a bitch, especially on TTH because I have Comp at 10:00, and seriously don't feel like getting up those days. Those are awesome pics you took in front of E. Cullen. Where do you park normally Soundwave3k?

 

Bumping this for the sake I saw my Car mentioned when I was reading the thread. My 8 was the black one parked near Scott street, mainly because I live right across the street. I don't drive it here anymore after it got broken into and keyed twice so Now I drive a Tan Volvo 740 Turbo and when I go out I pick up my 8 from my parents house. So far I have seen a Blue 8 and jsut today I saw another black one driving by SR2 behind a mustang and camero.

I thought of an idea seeing Soundwave3k's pics. Al lthe current UH 8 owners should get togetther and park their cars infront of EW and take a nice picture by someone who has a nice quality digi cam. Preferably a Sunday as the school should be empty then. Anyone one up for this?

 

If alumni are included, name the Sunday afternoon. :-)

 

I don't care if alum come, Just hope we dont have so many cars that we cant all fit. I wouldn't mind trying for this sunday sometime after 1. Though I don;t know if Im doing anything for sure yet. Is this ok for everyone else?

BTW sorry to hear about you getting broken into - I feel a bit paranoid abuot parking at UH now...

Also Shelleys_man_06, sorry I never saw your post last time! I usually park all over the place depending on where I can get good parking... usually around the music school or the business school lot.

 

Eh, It was at like 2am. Remember I _live_ in the third ward so It was bound to happen some times. I jsut left 5$ uncovered.

Hopefully if we get 4 or 5 people to come we can all train to EW and line em up. I just need to clean my car first.

 

I'd be up for a photo op as soon as I get my car cleaned of bird poop and my mystery dent covered up. College is expensive.

 

Then clean it this week like im going to do. I dont think you need to worry about the dent showing up in a picture.

Ok Woz--that was your 8--I was wondering whose it was. I stay on S. MacGregor so if yall see a Nordic Green with ebc reds on the front, clear corners, oem spoiler its me. I am all over that area. 3rd ward is funny--cause it is dichotomous as far as the 'crime' is concerned. Especially with gentrification going on--keep driving down Scott street though and its real out there.
