We should host a track day up at TWS. I went to one in November and had a blast! If anybody is interested in doing something like this let me know, I could probably get something together for April.

 

TWS... where is that located exactly? i havent done anything of the sort yet, but would REALLY love to give it a go...

 

There are always track events at TWS. One of my friends, Trixie, is an instructor up there. She drives a CYM 3rd gen RX-7.

 

The track is on hwy 6 just before College Station.

I don't ever remember seeing a 3rd gen up there, but there are a lot of different groups that run up there. I usually go to the Thursday events, and most other events are on the weekends. The Thursday events are nice, because there aren't many cars, and you get a full 7 hours of track time, just a break for lunch, or to pull somebody out of the weeds.

 

I would definetly be interested in a track day with a bunch of 8s in attendance.

 

If you put this together, i can probably bring 8 fellow racers... all really nice, friendly people.

 

Damn. I need to take a trip out to TWS, since it's pretty much down the street from my house. I'd go if I knew there'd be some RX-8 owners.
