I'd be down, but can we pick a better place than texas roadhouse? Austin has so many badass places to eat like Threadgill's etc. the roadhouse is kinda' weak

How about the Plucker's on the corner of 183/Burnet Rd.? Saturday or Sunday? any time preference?

As far as good home cookin' Austin style, Hoover's (on 183 since the original one is smallish), Threadgill's on N. Lamar by the yellow rose (known here at work as the "flower shop lol) South Austin you have Hill's cafe on congress about a 1/2 mile south of Ben White just to name one, there's others south as well of course lol
There's always Rudy's BBq too either on 183 and they have one way up on 620 near 2222, or the County Line right off 360 on 2222. There's several other spots around town of course, but most of them either have limited parking/full all the flippin' time, or they're just not "meet friendly" if that makes any sense. I dunno, Plucker's would be pretty easy to find, has decent parking and a cool laidback sports bar kinda' atmosphere, we ussually end up there on Saturday nights after my buddy's car audio shop closes down etc.

It might also be worth mentioning the texasrxs have an event this weekend, so if y'all want to do some drivin' to go with some grubbin' it might be worth checkin' out, drives are open to anyone and any car details can be found on our site at www.texasrxs.org.

havent been on a drive for a while...hmmm

 

okey dokey cool, hopefully we can all sit at one table, I know they have tables out front and such too so however that works out I'm not too picky. I haven't been on a drive in a while either, just short stuff on the way home from work like old spicewood etc.

yeah my wheels are in need of a good polishing but supposedly it might rain some tomorrow, might just say the heck with it and do that tonight anyway

 

My girlfriend might come to the meet with me if I can talk her into it. I might want to meet up and follow one of you since I'm not too far away because I won't know where I'm going down there. After a drive down from north dallas mine's not going to be sparkling clean either but maybe I can find time for a quick wipe down.
