I used to live in tulsa. Now im about 30min east of tulsa in Locust Grove. Are there any RX8 meetings in tulsa? Has anyone thought about getting everyone together maybe once a month or so.

 

I would be up for something like that. Just let me know when. There will be alot of 8 owners at IFO on Sept. They are coming from OKC. I met them at the IFO in Norman. Also my mechanic is bringing his turbo 8.

 

I'm so ready for IFO and to see everyone again.

 

we really should get together sometime...go drive our 8s around town and then go find some twisties.....i know a great spot on North Cincinnati out toward sperry....and then there's the skiatook lake area..just gotta watch for the Osage counties

 

Whats the IFO? Sorry guys im new to this kind of stuff. And Extremely new to RX8 world. And to be truthful my wife is the one with the RX-8. I just do all research and some work on it. Im no perfect on cars. But i can turn a wrench. I will get my own RX-8 one day. Just not sure when I will.

Heys guys I have decided i am going to try and get a RX8. I have to find a co-signer first though. I have limited credit and have not been on my job for long and being a car saleman is rough to be able to save up money to just buy one. My wife has one and I have been on here and researching them makes me want one pretty bad. And besides I have wanted one since they came out in 04. So im on a mission to buy one. Just thought id let everyone know.

Where and When is IFO this year?

 

I use Carlos at RP Performance in Broken Arrow. He has been great. He also has a turbo'd 8. He is off of walnut st. Behind the Mazzio's at 145th and 71st.

 

Hey RotaryKillz where did you have your body kit worked on? I think I'm gonna buy an MS kit but I want to find someone who can do a decent job at putting it on before I do so.

 

Is anyone interested in going to San Antonio for the Texas meet on april 30 - may 1st? I am planning on going and would like to get some people from OK to make the trip

 

Does any1 know where I could get my carbon fiber hood wet sanded and re clear coated for a good price and get it done right???? Plz I need some help...

 

i would love to make a trip like that! but i think work would get in way nor would i have the money im assuming. But what i can say is that we need to get all the 8s together in tulsa one night. Now that i finally have one. As of last friday i am proud owner of a 05 GT 6 speed. And we still have the wifes 06. She has posted above me. Also got 1or 2 other buddies with 8s. But they are not here. Anywayz. We all need to get together.

Glad you are making it out man, even with the drive down that you will have to make it is worth it! The hill country roads that we will be driving on are a blast. Not sure if you have taken a look at our website? www.thetexas8.com but there is a video on there that can give you a little bit of an idea of the roads you will be driving on.

Probably around $500-600 for the trip to SA. That's full price on the room. I have a friend riding with me that will cut costs. I have to get a water pump before I can go. My car is wanting to run warm. Hasn't overheated yet though. Thank god for the Cobb or I wouldn't even know.
