Hey guys, I am really pi$$3d that I can't make this one.
Since y'all are using the maps I gave St3ve - make sure you are careful.

There are off camber and declining radius curves on those. Also be careful if your car is lowered at all, you will be grinding off the rough spots on the bottom.

Have fun and you MUST, absolutely MUST post tons of pics for those of us who cannot go.

I'm planning on taking my camcorder along, but I'm not sure how many hours it will record... I'll take all the SD cards I have... should be about 10Gigs...

Check out Panavise in Amazon - single and double suction cup camera mounts.
Mine is single. Works with digital camera or camcorder
Mine cost $20.00

I have a mounting system that I use that was cheap. just a clip with a swivel mount and i clip it to the driver's seat between the leather and plastic. sits right in the middle of both seats at just above shoulder-height.

My front spoiler is barely 5" off the ground and the rest of the car is not much higher. I cannot afford to be scraping bottom too much more. Can someone PLEASE give me more information??

Overall you will be OK, there are some spots that will obvious where you will want to slow more than the group. Those would be a couple of places where there are cattle guards; look at the pics I gave Steve and he posted. You see the second one ? At the bottom of that little hill a water crossing and we had one lowered Solstice scrape there. There are a couple of other spots the same way.

As long as you are just traveling along you won't have any problems. It is just when your a zipping along and go through a wash or dip. Look at that first picture, there are some steeper than that.

I dont know if I can post a picture on this forum or not so I can't show you the other car.

I don't know about any wet t-shirt contests, but we will be doign some cruises around that area, plus going out to eat and playing some games for raffle tickets which you could win some prizes as well.

I'd love to make it out there, but right now my job is kind of jerking me around with pay and stuff. If I can get that worked out before the weekend I'll be sure and make it out, if not have fun and I want to see some pics too!

Just check the weather and it looks like it will be really nice. Staying around 70-80 degrees for the weekend is perfect.

I would say that we all meet at the hotel at 6pm so that we can go out to eat. If you are not able to be at teh hotel by 6pm please let me know and I will give you my cell# so that you can get in touch with us.

This Tuesday we are having a meet in the DFW area and we were going to put an agenda together. So by Wed. I should be able to PM it to all of the people that say they are going. If you have any questions just PM me.

Later!
