Took the thank you flyer in a frame to Terrance the parts manager at Legend Mazda. Really nice guy. He was very appreciative and offered us parts discount if you ask for him. Talked to him about ordering the Apearrance Package at Xmas time said he would sell it to me at cost.
Also he will email Jiggawha (Mark) when they are having their Grand Opening of their new building. We can line up are 8s in front of the new dealership...

Another story....so we are flying down some roads that have these huge hills, and at one of the bases of a hill there was a small dip which multiplied the intensity of the bump x 100....ANYWAYS deadphoenix is just cruisin in front on me when suddenly he reaches this little dip and his car(mostly his exhaust) bottoms out and a cloud of pebbles flys up into my windshield and what not....lucky me, I catch one of these suckers in my mouth(no joke) and I am sure there are still rocks under my seat haha, but I laughed histerically as we continued through the hills, minding that Mr. Phoenix was far more observant of those hills

What happened to Pearl White Sleeper? Did he make it?
He was asking me questions about the clearance on the dips last Thursday.
Just wondering how he made out.
Oh, BTW, working on a possible really nice deal out of Irving - if all things work out it will be great
Don't tell anyone yet - no one reads this stuff right?

He made it all right. Just his pride a little scuffed. He went to bed early that day, if you know what I mean. hahaha
He drove home all right. Do not know if he took those cattle crossing and those dips fast or slow but he made it ok.

So is his one of these in all the photos?
I found out about those cattle guards myself, seems at about 85-90 those dudes tend to grind off the bottoms of my splash guards and they work sort of like playing cards in your bicycle spokes (OMG I just dated myself BIG TIME, I bet 3/4 of the people on here have no idea what I am talking about)
But - it is fun - parts are parts they can be replaced

He was behind me on the third part of the three sisters and he seemed to stay up with me. I think I may have taken one or two of the last guards at 50 because they werent marked well, but on most of the others I took at 20-30 and just gunned the hell out of it afterwards. I noticed he lagged a couple times after he took them, but he always seemed to catch up... at least until he started smokin real bad.
yea his car was boggin out after the guards and took him a bit to catch speed again but I think his car wasn't getting proper amount of air up in thurrrr since we were drivin so slow and he was behind a couple of catless rotaries...but he said he is runnin as normal since he left
Lindsay and I saw something funny as we putzed around Kerrville before we left... after all the gumping he did about Valero gas, who did we just happen to see pull into a Valero station in Kerrville Sunday morning...
*snicker*

It appears that I "again" missed out on a very good turn out of 8s....My sisters place is not too far from your meet,(Rocksprings)......would have been there if not for me scheduled on call out duties at work,
but what the hey, I got in some O.T. this weekend.

I sent the parts manager at Freeman Mazda some pics and this is what he sent back
Stephen (and Club), thanks so much for the pictures! They brought back some fond memories for me, since I lived for a period of time
