My drama free response to your fears is this - I work 14 hour shifts and I work trauma. Thats three days in a row when I do it. Aside from that with 3rd Recon we would do 48-72 hour ops where you got 2 hour naps every 10 hours, or where ever you could catch them. The main goal is to have the lady drive down and back if its an issue, but I don't think it would be. If I feel that I am tired from work I will make the drive down, but other than that I know I will be fine.

okey dokey then, sure sounds like more work than fun, and just because you're capable of doing something doesn't always make it a good idea. I'm just hoping I can make it out this time, hoping I can make our TexasRxs leakey trip too! I am putting the car back on static suspension and abandoning my air ride, going to be a lot of work but with any luck I should have it done by mid to end February

Have you looked into KW HLS systems?

Funny hearing all the Marine talk from a HM

Canary, if you have any mod weekends let me know, it would be cool to help you out. I haven't seen you since years ago when Romy and I rolled up for a mod day at the shop.

hmm, haven't seen the HLS system, very intriguing, wonder how much it adds to the cost of coilovers, once I have all the parts lined up I'll throw up a note or thread or something. I'm fighting right now between waiting about 2 weeks or so for the KW V3's or just up and grabbing a set of Stance, I've got enough for Stance right now. The last time I went with the cheaper option (i;e- current setup) I got burned, Sifu gave me some good input on the Stance but maybe I'll just hold off and do the KW's anyway. I'm trying to avoid being in the situation I'm in now again, where maybe the car sits great and all but I hate driving it due to ride quality/hassle etc.

edit: holy crap, just saw pricing on that, it's like another 3-4k on top of 2k for coilovers, there's just no way I'm spending over 6 grand on suspension, maybe uif I had a 6 figure car to put it on, but no way for my 8, can't justify that.

You have to talk to them, they are building them for VWs for only about 4 grand.

interesting, I think I'll give that a shot, I don't think I'd have any reliability issues with this compared to the air, wondering how it rides lifted or if it's only for time when you need to get over stuff, I can probably find out from them and see, thanks for the heads up.

(my english teachers would hate me after seeing that paragraph...oops)

suspension is ordered today, it's beginning to look like I'll be attending more events and drives this year, hope to have it all done by the end of this month.
