Suggestions for painted calipers and other aftermarket parts

Hey guys and gals, I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (HEB Mid Cities area to be specific), and I was wondering if anyone in this area has gotten their calipers painted locally, and if so, could you tell me where and how much I can expect to pay. Also, this is my first vehicle that I have ever had an interest in doing aftermarket upgrades to. So does anyone have any suggestions of where the best places are to get aftermarket stuff around here (i.e. wheels, exhaust, brake related items etc...). I've also heard that Service King does a great job installing and painting body kits. Anyone used them? Thanks

I don't know of anyone who' s has gotten their calipers painted, but Jenkins painted his own. I think you can get the paint (it's special & high-temp) from a local automotive store.

In regards to aftermarket stuff, most of us are buying the parts online and either installing them ourselves or having a local performace shop install for us. There are two that I know of, Gotham Racing in Haltom City and Rotary Performace in Garland. I think you'd be surprsied how easy some of the aftermarkets parts are to install.

Keep us updated on your projects and I'm sure someone would be willing to help, we all like "install parties." :D

Thanks. I checked out Kauffman Tire too. They have a few nice looking models.

Get them powder coated, painting them won't last very long.
