That's probably rx-hawk, he is on this board every now and then. He has everything Mazdaspeed and still cannot break a 15 at the track. Cool guy.

Spotted a BB west bound on valley view around 5 yesterday. I knew she couldn't see me at first, so i popped around a vehicle to get her attention. Cutie sped up to smile and wave. A rarity to get a woman in an 8 to respond.

 

oh yea i saw him the next day to on wursbach agian, yea i seen that same blue 8 to with those rims a couple of times on thousand oaks

 

I see a VR coming towards me with a hot chick driving every morning but it is always filthy.

Spotted a Silver/Grey RX8 when I was leaving the NOPI/Texas Speedway yesterday at around 8:30pm. I was behind it, and after a few miles, she moved over onto the shoulder and alowed me to pass and took a real good look at me and my 8. I waved as I passed. I have a Velocity Red with Red undercarrage lights. Any takers????

 

there's three 8's in my immediate area. two black and one titanium grey. Merritt Island? who are you. I think they're all AT's though.

 

That's because bolt on's hardly do anything for the car to begin with. The track prep/conditions and elevation plus driver skill make the big difference.

Have seen quite a few in the NRH, HEB area over the past couple of weeks, but nobody will wave or honk. I figured someone would have spotted me in the last few days as I would be the only 8 with "Just Married" written on the back window. Oh well.

 

Spotted a Silver one on 35 this morning and honked. The guy looked at me like I was crazy. **** he's lucky I did'nt have a camera in his face!

 

Am I the only North Houston RX8 owner on these boards? Of the 3 or 4 RX's I've spotted in the past 5 months, none of them had owners that came forward. (probably aren't members on the boards).

If anyone in Spring/Woodlands/Conroe/Oad Ridge/Greenspoint is a member of these boards, please come forward now. I'm tired of checking this thread once a week to find out that 8's are as common as civics in SA.

 

It's not that they are so common it's just that I drive all over the frickin' place. I have three offices in SA and they are spread out so I travel alot. Oh, and I am somewhat of a stalker when it comes to RX8's.

 

I promise you I'm probably in the top 3 in the forum's "miles driven in 8 per day" lineup, and anytime I spot an RX (7 or 8) it usually going the other way on the highway.

All of my encounters go something like this:

"....hey... that kinda... looks like... a.... *ZIPS PAST* Sure was............."

I put about 40k a year on my 8.

 

I'm a Spring resident and in the last week have seen: A black on Cypresswood off 1960 near the Cypresswood Golf Course, and a white on 1960 just east of I-45. Then a blue on Louetta going westbound, mature male driver. A silver just east of 249 on Cypresswood, 2 females, neither looked to see my Phantom Blue alongside. And of those mentioned there has been no shared recognition. I guess some drivers just do not care to wave or smile or glance or .....well, do anything to let you know if they give a darn that they are not the only ones who drive such a fine automobile. Still, I like to see other RX-8's on the road.

haven't seen another 8 in a while, did see a Bentley GT yesterday though

 

Everyday I've gone out for my lunch break/joy ride I've seen this yellow RX-8 parked in the exact same spot.

It's always backed into the same parking spot in the lot of the building (I belive it's a bank or something) next to the Exxon station. Anyone here care to claim it? There's usually traffic in the way so I can't say if it's a GT or not - sorry.

 

there's this green rx parked out by delaware subs on bee caves road sportin some black rims...i see it there m-f so i figure they must work for the driving school or something near the sub shop...

 

I've seen red RX8 driving in the Medical Center area of Houston a few times! Around Old Spanish trail.
