Spotted a black RX8 at McArthur and 114 at 5pm.

 

spotted a nice blue on mopac last night, even flashed my hazards. getting people's attention in this town is like a 80-20 shot, 80% of the time I either get dissed, ignored, whatever. the other 20% I get knods or a wave so it's all good

 

Spotted a TG going south on Bryant Irvin around 5:20. I thoroughly waved to her, but she didn't wave back. Looked stock, no spoiler. The chick was mid-thirties, early forties.

Spotted a silver driving west on 30 around 5:40 or so. I caught it late so I did the rubber neck thing, but wasn't able to wave.

 

Spotted a blue with X-Men spoiler at Hiley... Where is EG's old car?

 

its probably mine. did it have a gotham sticker on the front. its some girl who bought it. i traded it in for around 24,000. i heard she got it for around 22,000!!! they took a hit on my car.

 

Spotted the same TG I saw three posts ago today around 12:20 at Bryant Irvin/183. I pulled up to her at the light, honked and waved enthusiastically and she turned and waved back! She's got an AT, completely stock and base model. Small damage on her driver side fender near the side marker.

 

was driving near some buildings around downtown yesterday and spotted another blue 8 with a fine *** driver.. then i realized it was just my car in the buildings reflection.

best spot ever.

 

I didn't see the front, the spoiler just caught my attention.

 

Winning Blue spotted at Gallery Furniture last night. Wasn't driving mine; we had the Suburu out.

 

Spotted a Blue heading towards 20 off the 183 loop in Fort Worth/Benbrook. GT pkg, OEM spoiler and chrome fuel lid. I honked and waved and got the smile/nod back.

 

While cruising to the meet last night, we spotted a red going east on 183, he exited 161 with us, and everyone passed but me. I caught even, waved and he waved back. Brand spankin' new with Hiley dealership tags.

Also spotted a grey going the opposite way on MacArthur when we were turning into the parking lot.

 

hey how's it goin ya'll. i just got a new 8 about 2weeks ago and was looking around for a group just like ya'll....fellow 8 lovers. it's great to see i'm not the only one that still gets excited when they see a fellow 8. lol. i had a few questions that hopefully ya'll can answer though. what are a few good cheap mods that won't void the warranty and what are the best shifting times for each of the gears? yea i know...the questions are ignorant but so am i in the detailed RX8 world since i did just get this car.

 

FYI: The owner of the white 8 at the DFW meet lives in Richardson. I think his name is Jason (from the 7 boards). He bought his a month ago and has black rims. He's a member here, but mostly lingers in the FS/WTB section. If anyone sees this vehicle, it's him.

fun stuff fun stuff... it felt like u took off first, but we paced it about to same. if you didn't, yours is just a lil bit faster i guess. any mods? white 8

 

I think I hit the gas first, I guess we should of just done a honking countdown. Had we gone at the same time I think it would of been just about even. Near the end you were pulling up close but then shifted while I was at about 7500, early shift maybe? No performance mods yet, but they do say the velocity red adds 10 hp =)

Nothing is really going to void your whole warranty until you go near some sort of FI (supercharger, turbocharger, NOS). Other than that, youll just void whatever you replace. Like my springs/shocks probably voided my warranty suspension components, but thats all.

I shift around 3-3.5k rpm when cruising. Any lower and your probably putting too much lag on your transmission any more and your wasting gas. SIDE NOTE: i am rarely "just cruising"

Spotted a VR on Corporate in Lewisville around 8.15am this morning.

I waved and the driver waved back.

Woohoo... first time I've ever had a response to a wave

 

I forgot to mention that on Monday, I spotted a TG at Bryant Irvin/Vickery. I waved and they gave a big smile with a head nod. It was pretty cool.

Also saw a dark 8 today turning onto River Park Dr. from Bryant Irvin around 5pm. I saw it late and couldn't wave.

 

Ok, I forgot to post these after last weekend in Tyler, Tx. Spotted a Ti grey parked in the big parkinglot behind the Olive Garden. Spotted a VR driving in the same parking lot directly behind the Olive Garden. Spotted a White 8 turning right on a backroad to Wal-mart (I don't know the Tyler area well, but there is a fun curve with road construction on it). This was all on last Saturday and I don't ever see 8's when I am there visiting on the weekend. I waved, but I wasn't in my car so I doubt that they noticed.

 

Spotted an automatic Shinka at the flying saucer in Addison, and a stock VR over at Logan's last night.

 

Spotted a silver near Preston/Legacy in the Plano area around 9:30am today. I spotted him late so didn't wave. The bushed would have blocked it anyway. No tint, OEM spoiler.

 

Saw a Sunlight Silver near the Galleria (777 Bering to be exact). It was parked but there were some people standing close to it so I just stared at them since I wasn't in my car... lol.
